Located in Nam-myeon, Gimcheon, Gimcheon-Gumi Station is a major high-speed railway station connecting the Gimcheon and Gumi areas of Gyeongsangbuk-do.
이번에는 김천구미역의 외부 간판과 역사 내부를 직접 촬영하고, 고속열차가 승강장으로 들어오는 모습도 영상으로 담아보았습니다.
For this visit, I photographed the station’s exterior sign and interior and also recorded a high-speed train arriving at the platform.

역사 외부에서 가장 먼저 눈에 들어오는 것은 ‘김천(구미)역’이라고 적힌 커다란 간판입니다.
The first thing visitors notice outside the building is the large sign displaying the name “Gimcheon(Gumi) Station.”
영문으로는 ‘Gimcheon(Gumi)’라고 표기되어 있어 외국인 여행객도 역의 이름을 쉽게 확인할 수 있습니다.
The English name “Gimcheon(Gumi)” is also clearly displayed, making the station easy for international travelers to identify.
김천구미역은 김천시에 위치하지만, 인근 산업도시인 구미 지역의 고속철도 이용객까지 함께 담당하고 있습니다.
Although the station is located in Gimcheon, it also serves high-speed rail passengers traveling to and from the nearby industrial city of Gumi.
역 앞은 차량 승하차와 대중교통 이용이 가능하도록 구성되어 있으며, 주변에는 김천혁신도시의 공공기관과 상업시설이 자리하고 있습니다.
The area in front of the station provides space for passenger pick-up, drop-off, and public transportation, while public institutions and commercial facilities of Gimcheon Innovation City are located nearby.

Gimcheon-Gumi Station is a high-speed railway station on the Gyeongbu High-Speed Railway and opened on November 1, 2010.
서울과 대전, 동대구, 부산 등 주요 도시를 고속철도로 연결하며, 경북 서부권을 방문하는 여행객과 출장객이 많이 이용합니다.
